Academic Instructional Support.
A remote platform will be offered for students to obtain assistance with core subjects.
Currently, students should utilize their Tutor.com Upward Bound accounts to obtain credit for Upward Bound attendance. All students must log in for at least one (1) hour per week to obtain credit! This site is available by use of a computer, (desktop or laptop), tablet or iPad or your mobile cell phone. To access your account click here and enter (username: Firstname.Lastname, Password: umbccub).
Khan Academy is also available for your use. To receive credit for using Khan Academy, you must visit www.khanacademy.org/join. Scroll down to where it asks you to join a class and then enter our class code TNHBCZT2 into the box under “Join a Class” and click Join the Class so that we can monitor your progress.
Please let us know if you do not have internet access, a cell phone or a laptop!!! Comcast is offering assistance with internet access. Interested households are asked to apply online at www.internetessentials.com. Please use the promo code TRIO2020. (Note that this offer is exclusively for TRIO participants.) The first two months of this service will be free. Afterward, the monthly rate will be $9.95. However, participants may cancel this service at any time. Questions about signing up or using the service may be sent to email@example.com. Be sure to identify your TRIO program in such communications.
